Walking has its own delights. Walking is a great adventure, the first meditation, a practice of heartiness, and a soul primary to humankind. Our great ancestors have emphasized the benefits of walking as by doing this, one feels rejuvenated and relaxed. People walk for various reasons. Some walk to reach their destinations, some walk to free up their leisure time while some walk to burn those unwanted calories to stay fit and healthy. Whatever may be the reason, walking has multiple benefits.

Times have changed and so has our lifestyle. Every single person we come across these days is complaining of stress, fatigue, muscular stiffness, and other whimsical health problems- which furthermore adds on to multiple visits to the doctor. Sadly in India walking is associated with deprivation and poverty. People usually tend to show off their luxuries than enjoying the usefulness of a simple life. Walking is seriously the most effective and cheapest way to pave a healthy lifestyle.

In this fast-moving world of today, we find it difficult to take time out of our busy schedules for walking. We are in the notion that walking drains out all our energy which we need to do our daily chores, we forget that the practice of walking increases our metabolism and makes us feel more energized. We may also find it difficult initially, but, it won’t be too difficult in the future.
