INGREDIENTS-
Onion- and carrots-, chopped finely.
Garlic cloves-4 -pressed and minced.
Cumin and curry powder
Tomato chopped.
Lentils, brown and green(soaked overnight)
Vegetable broth – water – 1 cup.
Salt and chili flakes as per taste.
Chilli flakes
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
Lemon juice
Coriander for garnishing
Rice bran oil.
METHOD-
1- Warm the oil in a pan.
2- Once the oil is shimmering, add chopped onion and carrots, cook well
3- Add minced garlic, cumin, and curry powder, cook for 40 sec -pour the
Chopped tomatoes and cook for a few more mins.
4- Cooked the soaked lentils, grind well in a grinder, add vegetable, broth, and water add salt and chili flakes. seasoned generously with freshly
ground black pepper.
5- Add chopped greens, and cook for 5 minutes, now remove from gas and add 1tsp
Lemon juice. Taste and season with more black salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
6- Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
